Mayfield Gardens
Mayfield Garden, one of the largest and most spectacular cool climate gardens in the Southern Hemisphere, is Australia's largest privately-owned cool climate garden. Inspired by Europe's significant horticultural destinations, it spans 65 hectares and will be open daily starting in 2024, allowing visitors to explore its maze, chapel, stumpery, aviary, garden rooms, and more. Visitors can also enjoy a unique regional dining experience at the garden's fine restaurant.

Flat Rock Picnic Area
The Flat Rock Picnic Area is a beloved local destination for swimming, fishing, camping, and picnicking, located on the picturesque Fish River and is only 14 minutes from the farmhouse.
The site offers amenities such as toilets, and a free barbecue, and is pet-friendly. Suitable for caravans and campervans, there is no reason to not enjoy a splendorous evening at the Flat Rock Picnic Area.
Chifley Dam Recreation Area
A perfect location for a quiet weekend getaway or a fantastic
fun holiday for the family. This dam is Bathurst's water supply and
serves as a versatile recreational area, even for power boating, water skiing, and sailing. The dam offers excellent fishing, barbecue, and picnic opportunities with its well-catered facilities, blanketed by native flora and fauna.
Facilities: The area features picnic areas, five picnic shelters, nine electric BBQs, toilet blocks, a children's playground, and two operating boat ramps.
